Two-piece full-bore ball valves have a spherical disc that opens and closes the flow of fluid. The valve is manufactured to industry standards for pipeline closure applications. Valves are mechanical devices that control flow and ensure pressure in a piping system or process. The valves are fully manual operated without any additional gearing or power assist. It should be equipped with a blue or
Product Description
A ball valve flange type is a type of quarter-turn valve that uses a ball-shaped component to control the flow of fluid. It has two flanges, one on each end, for connecting to pipes or other equipment, providing a tight seal to prevent leaks. Flanged ball valves are commonly used in industrial, commercial, and residential plumbing systems for controlling the flow of liquids, gases, and slurries. They are durable, easy to operate, and can withstand high pressures and temperatures.
This type Ball Valve is a valve, whose disc, the movable part to stop the flow, is a circular ball. When pressure is pushed out on the ball, it is moved off its disc allowing fluid to pass through the inside. When the fluid pressure decreases, the ball slides back into its position on the inside disc. But This Ball valves are only used in liquid systems and can be produced in GG25, GG40 at HY Valves scope.
Applicable Fluid: Water
Working Pressure: Less than 10Kgf/CM2 (MAX.1.0Mpa)
Applicable Temperature: Less than 80 Degree.
Connection Method: 10K FF or RF Flange
Hydraulic Test: Body: 15Kgf/CM2(1.5Mpa) Seat: 11Kgf/CM2(1.1Mpa)
Certificate: ISO9000, CE
The inside of the ball has a hole through which the flow passes freely when it is fully aligned with both valve’s end. When the inside hole is completely perpendicular to the end of the device, the valve is sealed perfectly. If the hole is in any other position or not perpendicular to the valve ends, the flow will partly or totally be interrupted.
Ball valve can be categorized according to multiple criteria below:
Design: floating or trunnion mounted
Number of ports: the standard 2 ports design type (1 inlet and 1 outlet)
Bore size: Reduced bore or full bore
Body assembly: Single piece, 2 piece or 3 piece
Ball access: Top entry or side entry
Seat type: metal or soft Teflon
The design is to block or maintain a strategic distance from flammable fluids, liquids or gases to pass through at any rate at any rate in the middle of that time period, not in isolation aggregates. Hazards are present in installations in the oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industries, so valves with a fire safety design are reliable in the event of a fire. Standard features and benefits of fire safety valves:
Blowout Prevention System
Anti-static device
Fire seat design
Rubber O-ring stem seal maintains stem alignment, reduces packing side loading and wear, and improves stem seal performance.
Dual body seals ensure positive sealing of body joints against pipe stress.
Multiple stem seals.
The ball valve is a float valve design. The ball is suspended in the flowing fluid and held in place by being pressed against the ball by two resilient seats. A shaft attached to the top of the ball allows a quarter of a 90 degree rotational motion to easily switch the valve from the open to the closed position. When the shaft moves, the ball is loaded and the ball is pressed against the seat. The floating design is lightweight and economical. It can accommodate bores up to 10 inches, if the bore is larger than 10 inches, the valve seat will not be able to withstand the heavier ball and the valve will not operate efficiently and safely.
When the valve operates under medium pressure, the float will move against the downstream valve seat. The valve seal is a single-sided seal. The float valve has an upper stem that allows a slight displacement of the ball. When the valve is closed, the floating ball is pressed against the sealing surface under the action of pressure to achieve sealing. This valve is suitable for medium to low pressure and small bore valve sizes.
High velocity liquid
When the ball valve is frequently operated on high-velocity liquids, please check the valve drawing or diagram to minimize the possibility of seat deformation, especially when used in high-pressure and high-temperature pipelines. 6.2
Valve selection
Valve selection is important and design specifications to meet the required pressure and temperature conditions. Be careful when selecting seat material, as fluids containing abrasives may degrade the seat.
Valve installation
Before installing the valve, inspect the pipe bore to verify that there are no weld spatter, scale, or rust particles inside. When installing the flange end ball valve, locate the flange bolts diagonally and tighten evenly.
Valve opening
Ball valves belong to the category of on-off valves and require attention to maintenance and maintenance. This is to ensure that the ball valve can fully open and close when installed in a piping system. Opening the valve can cause the seat to corrode and possibly cause seat leakage. Pipelines requiring ball valves for throttling service should be designed with consideration to the amount of seat leakage that may occur in their fully closed position. Remember that the ball valve should be stored in the fully open position.
High temperature and high pressure service
The manufacturer's recommended pressure and temperature ratings are an appropriate guide to the maximum operating pressure and temperature range that the valve can withstand. However, when the ball valve is under the following conditions, a reference to the valve distributor is required to ensure its suitability
The valve is closed for a long time under high temperature or high differential pressure.
Working frequency for a long time at high temperature.
Frequent changes in line pressure or operating temperature.
A flanged ball valve is a type of quarter-turn valve that is used for controlling the flow of liquids, gases, and slurries in pipeline systems. They are typically used in high-pressure and high-temperature applications, such as oil and gas production, power generation, chemical processing, and water treatment. The flange connection provides a secure and reliable method of attaching the valve to the pipeline, allowing for easy installation and maintenance.
